Cobra Golf Trusy Rusty Wedge - Pre Rusted

The Cobra Trusty Rusty Wedge originally designed by Phil Rogers and made from unplated carbon steel, the Cobra Trusy Rusty was first brought out in 1998. The wedges were made to naturally rust, that gave them the spin and feel that the wedges are now famous for, and also came the name Trusty Rusty.

The new updated Trusty Rusty wedges have kept everything that was loved about them from but brought to the table lots of new technology.

This 'Pre-Rusted' model is made from unplated 8620 Carbon steel. Removing the chrome covering gives 7% more feel and allows the wedge to rust naturally over time. This particular version features a 'pre-rusted' face so you can experience the 'Trusty Rusty' performance straight out of the box.

A Tri-bounce sole incorporates a rear scallop which helps to provide enough bounce to give the most forgiveness whilst keeping the leading edge height low so you can get underneath the ball. Higher bounce in the centre with relief in the heel and to optimises performance for all distance shots.

The grooves on the club face have been achieved by using Laser precision technology. This is an aggressive process which gives each groove a post-laser milling feature for four distinct surface roughness’s that result in maximum allowable spin.

Each wedge comes fitted with a Lamkin 3GEN grip which helps to improve vibration damping and stays soft and tacky after prolonged use. The grip has a longer length than a traditional grip which allows for a consistent feel even if you need to choke down shots.

Each wedge come fitted as standard with a tour proven True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 shaft, which has been painted black with an non-glare coating and precision laser engraving for a striking look. This high-flex, tour weight shaft is designed for skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight for optimum control and accuracy.

The Trusty Rusty Wedges are available in 49 degree, 51 degree, 53 degree, 55 degree, 57 degree, 59 degree and 61 degree.
