Whats the Ping i20 Driver all about?
Distance is generated by the aerodynamic 460cc clubhead, which features an optimized CG position for low-spin, penetrating trajectories. But this classic head design will also bolster your confidence and sense of power at address. The distinctive matte-black non-glare finish eliminates distraction so you can focus on launching long, accurate drives.
The crown is engineered to reduce drag for maximizing clubhead speed and ball velocity, resulting in greater distance.
The 460cc head is built from Ti 8-1-1, a light low density alloy that enabled Ping engineers to optimize weight distribution for increasing forgiveness. Dense tungsten sole weights elevate MOI across the clubface and position the CG for low-spin, penetrating trajectories and long, accurate drives.
The aerodynamic crown is engineered to reduce drag for maximizing clubhead speed and ball velocity resulting in greater distance. The i20's striking matt-black finish absorbs light to eliminate glare and reflections.
Whats the Verdict with the Ping i20 Driver?
Whats not to like with the new offering from Ping. The i20 driver is for the "better golfer", and with better aerodynamics than the Ping i15 driver, the driver must perform better.
Looking like a stealth fighter, with its Matt Black finish, the driver gets 10/10 in our books for the looks. And with the driver not being adjustable like many of the recent drivers we have seen, we feel like this will mentally improve your game by not constantly thinking your driver is set up wrong.
