Wilson's Di9 irons are built to inspire confidence, with large heads and large cavities. The cavity and sweetspot have been placed between the toe and center based on 85% of shots hit by amateurs are struck from this area of the face. Compared to Wilson’s Di7, the sole is wider and the blade height is lower, making long irons easier to hit. An insert is placed in the cavity and combined with increased mass in the heel helps remove unwanted vibrations. The wide tip of the shaft prevents the clubhead from twisting.
